Gulf Intracoastal Canal Association Life Membership

Walter Pilgram, Jr., chairman of the West Calhoun/West Side Calhoun County Navigation District, was honored with life membership in the Gulf Intracoastal Canal Association at the organization's recent 100th Annual Convention. The meeting was held in Victoria, Texas, location of the association's very first convention, held in 1905.

Pilgram was appointed chairman of the Port of West Calhoun in 1968, and continues to serve in that capacity. The GICA recognizes one of its members each year by bestowing the honor of life membership.
